There are two main public bathing facilities in Leukerbad.

At the Burgerbad visitors will find eleven different pools with temperatures between 28 and 44°C.

At the Alpentherme bath temple opened in November 1993 and an architectural maze of four complex units providing two main bathing areas, the medical centre, the gallery and the springs.

Besides the thermal indoor and outdoor pools there is a luxurious Roman - Irish bath.

This one hundred and twenty year old bathing ritual will give you a feeling of relaxation and well being. A combination of Roman thermal bath and hot air bath according to Irish tradition. Progressive heating and then cooling of the body with hot air, steam and thermal water bath followed by soap, brush massage until finally your body is wrapped in warm towels.

At the Alpentherme bath temple you will find all kinds of relaxation and beauty treatment, such as:

• full-body massage (50 minutes),
• 1 hay flower compress or 1 natural fango pack (20 minutes) followed by a 25 minute relaxing massage,
